Gentle Touch is an all volunteer organization. Without the kindness and support of our volunteers we would not be able to function.

Hundreds of homeless animals are euthanized weekly because the facilities that house them, can not manage the large volume of animals they receive.

Gentle Touch steps in and rescues these animals; however, we can only rescue as many animals as we have volunteers for.

We are looking for volunteers to help with a number of duties caring for our cats at our facility. We need people for many diffrent shifts and days. You can choose what days you would like and the hours. For more information on volunteering give us a call!

We also are looking for someone who can help out at the Luv-a-Pet Centers at Petsmart in St Louis Park and Plymouth.

Just an hour a week can make all the difference in the world to an animal who needs it!

If you would like to volunteer at our new facility we would love to hear from you. We need help with phones, adoptions, office work, animal care, and general cleaning. We are a very small facility , but would love to have you come and join our family of volunteers. Please give us a call at 763-537-5599 or contact us HERE. We are also looking for volunteers to help out at the Petsmart Luv A Pet Centers in St. Louis Park and Plymouth. Duties will include; cleaning cages, washing and bleaching litterpans, washing dishes, taking beds home to launder, feeding and watering and socializing and playing with our felines. Hours and days are very flexible, but does require a commitment and weekly scheduling so we know when volunteers are scheduled as to not overlap days and hours.

WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR ADOPTION COORDINATORS DAYS AND HOURS NEEDED ARE AS FOLLOWS: MONDAY - THURSDAY AND FRIDAY 4pm TO 8pm AND SATURDAY AND SUNDAY - NOON TO 4pm DUTIES INCLUDE: GREETING ADOPTORS AND HELPING THEM CHOOSE THE RIGHT FELINE - HELPING THEM THRU THE ADOPTION PROCESS - ANSWER PHONES AND PLENTY OF TIME LEFT FOR SPOILING OUR RESIDENT FELINES. 1 DAY A WEEK FOR A 6 MONTH COMMITMENT OR LONGER. GREAT FOR SENIOR CITIZENS.
